Blood Donation Camp:
Bishan Devi Charitable Trust (BDCT) is an NGO established by Piyush Group, with an aim to bring a change in the society emphasizing upon a sustainable quality of life and healing of our society, of our people and our ecological systems. To achieve this objective, trust is helping the underprivileged segment in education, health and other issues through different programs and plans. Bishan Devi Charitable Trust with Rotary Club of New Delhi had organized a blood donation camp on 19th June'09 at Piyush Group’s corporate office, Mathura Road, New Delhi. Group’s Chairman Sh. Anil Goyal & other trustees had participated with more than 100 people in this noble cause, making the event a success. In the near future, Bishan Devi Charitable Trust plans different programs including tree plantation for environment protection, health care awareness program for children, employment to handicap, awareness generation against Female Foeticide and eye check up camps etc. Creation of a glorious and ideal future is the foremost aim of the trust.
Bags Distribution:
On 6th April’08 Mr. Anil Goyal (CMD Piyush Group) graced an important social welfare event as the Chief Guest. This event was organized by Prayaas Social Welfare Society and was aimed at promoting children education among the poorer sections of society. Books, notebooks, school bags & uniforms were freely distributed to 2500 students as were smiles and encouragement.
Eye Check-up Camp:
Patients in eye check-up camp were provided with free eye treatment by the volunteers of BDCT. The Association held a charity program to offer free surgery for cataract patients. Beneficiaries of the program are to be hundreds of poor patients from the provinces of Northern India. A team of doctors and medical experts participated in this program. BDCT has initiated a step to help the poor, mainly in rural areas of Delhi & NCR.
